About The Position

Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting. We are hiring a Director of Nursing (RN) - Emergency Services in Florence, Alabama. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of Emergency Services, is accountable for improving patient outcomes and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care. The Director will collaborate with providers, staff, and leadership to support clinical performance and patient experience, and will support staff recruitment, retention, engagement, and development initiatives. This position also oversees staff education, competency, and adherence to clinical and patient safety standards, and partners with quality leadership to support accreditation compliance efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) REQUIRED
  • Current Alabama RN license or eligibility for licensure REQUIRED
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience in Emergency Services REQUIRED
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships REQUIRED
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and implement performance improvement initiatives REQUIRED
  • BLS certification REQUIRED or obtained within defined timeframe
  • ACLS certification REQUIRED or obtained within defined timeframe
  • Clean nursing license with no disciplinary issues REQUIRED
