About The Position

D'Youville Life & Wellness Community (DLWC) has provided Greater Lowell and surrounding communities with Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care since 1960. We are seeking to hire a Director of Mission and Values to communicate and educate employees, board members, volunteers, and the community about DLWC’s mission of compassionate care and its expressions. This role will contribute to the attainment of the vision of the strategic plan, develop and implement the annual plan for mission in cooperation with the Mission and Ethics Committee, supervise the Pastoral/Chaplaincy department, manage the volunteer program and Community Benefit program, and develop and present formation and mission education programs.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Theology, Pastoral Ministry or Spirituality.
Minimum of 5 years of leadership in Catholic ministry and good standing with local Bishop.
Competency in leadership within areas as specified by the Catholic Health Association: Leadership, Theology, Spirituality, Ethics and Organizational Management.

Responsibilities

Communicate and educate employees, board members, volunteers and the community about DLWC’s mission of compassionate care and its expressions.
Contribute to the attainment of the vision of the strategic plan in relation to focus area, priority and success indicator.
In cooperation with the Mission and Ethics Committee develop and implement the annual plan for mission.
Supervise the Pastoral/Chaplaincy department including outreach to area clergy and workplace spirituality initiatives.
Manage the volunteer program and Community Benefit program.
Develop and present formation and mission education programs for board members, leadership and others.
