Mercer University School of Medicine is searching for a non-tenure track Clinical Faculty position to serve as Director of Medical Practice. Rank to be determined based on the credentials of the selected candidate. This teaching position will play a key role in planning for 2nd year curriculum including all clinical skills practices, practicums and final exams. This M.D. will give lectures or recruit faculty to provide overviews as directed in the curriculum and lead practice sessions. This position will need to oversee and grade any written assignments and clinical investigation curriculum as well as remediate students as needed. Coordination with the Directors of Medical Practice and the entire Medical Practice Team on the Columbus and Savannah campuses is key. For over thirty years, MUSM has focused on training medical students to fulfill MUSM’s mission of preparing healthcare professionals to meet the primary care and health care needs of rural and underserved Georgia residents and communities.
