About The Position

The Director of Medical Group Operations is responsible for the operations of assigned medical groups and their subsidiaries. The role partners with Hospital Administration to support financial, operational, and quality goals, increase provider engagement, and develop additional affiliations with targeted providers. The Director ensures staff meet the educational requirements for their duties and oversees clinic staffing, including recruitment and retention. The position also plans, organizes, and influences department activities while maintaining continuous quality improvement. Frequent local travel is required.

Requirements

At least five years of progressively responsible experience in medical practice management.
Direct experience managing the revenue cycle.
Knowledge of accounts receivable management, coding, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, payor contracting, and billing and collections.
Knowledge of credentialing and regulatory compliance.
Frequent local travel is required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or healthcare management.
Master’s degree in business or healthcare management.
