Director of Mechanical Engineering
About The Position
An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Director of Mechanical Engineering for their St. Petersburg team! This role involves leading and directing the design of public and private development projects, recruiting and building a strong engineering team, and representing the team/firm in project and client interviews. The position also includes assisting with marketing the firm to clients, working with internal team members, and attending meetings with clients, local authorities, and other professionals. A key responsibility is reviewing designs prepared by others to ensure they adhere to QA/QC standards.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 12+ years of Mechanical design experience
- PE License
- Experience leading a design team
- Experience designing multiple types of projects (architectural/industrial)
- Broad HVAC/Plumbing design experience for a variety of building/system types
- Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Responsibilities
