About The Position

The Director of Marketing translates ARG’s growth strategy into measurable, integrated marketing programs. This role builds and leads a disciplined marketing operating system that supports new-logo growth, existing-client expansion, Managing Partner growth, referral relationships, vertical-market authority, and measurable demand generation. The Director leads day-to-day marketing strategy and execution, manages the Marketing & Strategic Growth Coordinator, and partners closely with Sales, Strategic Growth, Pardot/CRM resources, external public relations support, and project-based specialists.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute integrated B2B and B2C demand-generation, content, digital, event, and sales-enablement programs tied to revenue outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of CRM, marketing automation, campaign attribution, SEO, paid media, digital analytics, and website conversion; hands-on system administration is not required.
  • Exceptional executive communication, writing, editing, project-management, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to define meaningful performance measures and communicate pipeline influence, campaign conversion, sponsor value, website performance, content utilization, and operational effectiveness.
  • Practical fluency with generative AI and modern marketing technology, including establishing productive and responsible team use cases.
  • Ability to lead a small team and coordinate agencies, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders with clear priorities and accountability.
  • Ability to operate strategically while ensuring execution occurs with rigor, speed, and measurable commercial impact.
  • Seven or more years of progressive B2B and B2C marketing experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience leading integrated marketing programs and connecting marketing activity to sales and revenue outcomes required.
  • Experience managing a small team and coordinating agencies, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders required.

Responsibilities

  • Own the annual and quarterly marketing operating plan aligned with ARG business and revenue priorities, including the marketing calendar, campaign roadmap, budget view, and executive reporting cadence.
  • Translate executive strategy into integrated campaigns, content, events, digital programs, sales enablement, and measurable deliverables focused on commercial impact.
  • Design campaigns supporting new-logo acquisition, cross-sell and upsell, referral growth, Managing Partner opportunities, account-based marketing, and priority vertical markets.
  • Define campaign objectives, audiences, offers, calls to action, lead stages, follow-up expectations, and success measures in partnership with Sales and Strategic Growth.
  • Partner with Pardot/CRM resources on segmentation, nurture requirements, campaign architecture, attribution standards, and reporting while maintaining strategic ownership rather than serving as the technical system administrator.
  • Establish consistent measurement of marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline, event and referral influence, Managing Partner opportunities, and existing-client expansion.
  • Own editorial strategy across executive thought leadership, client proof, vertical content, case studies, newsletters, digital campaigns, and sales enablement; develop ARGenius into a visible market differentiator.
  • Protect brand consistency across channels, approve high-visibility creative and messaging, and guide day-to-day content and design production.
  • Own website performance, conversion strategy, landing-page priorities, SEO/AIO content strategy, and digital optimization in partnership with technical web resources.
  • Lead responsible adoption of AI-enabled marketing workflows, tools, personalization, research, and campaign acceleration, evaluating technology for business value, governance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Own communications strategy, editorial priorities, executive positioning, announcements, and corporate narrative; manage external public relations support for outreach, pitching, placements, and distribution.
  • Coordinate executive commentary, awards, bylines, speaking opportunities, and strategic announcements.
  • Own event marketing strategy, audience, messaging, sponsor integration, lead capture, follow-up, and revenue measurement; engage external production and photo/video resources when warranted.
  • Manage, develop, and prioritize the Marketing & Strategic Growth Coordinator and coordinate agencies, contractors, and specialists without outsourcing strategic ownership.
  • Create clear briefs, timelines, procedures, scorecards, and accountability, and present concise performance insights, recommendations, risks, and resource needs to executive leadership.
