About The Position

This role is for a Director of Marketing who will be responsible for growing the database, customer lifetime value, building the brand, leading with data, and leading a team. The ideal candidate will have a track record of revenue and market share growth, depth in casino database marketing, loyalty, CRM, and digital, and fluency in customer lifetime value. This position is not for someone who wants to be told what to do, wants to run marketing solely from within the marketing department, or is looking to maintain the status quo. Success will be measured by year-over-year net revenue growth, market share, customer lifetime value, active membership, hotel occupancy, guest satisfaction, and marketing ROI.

Requirements

  • A track record of revenue and market share growth that can be quantified.
  • Depth in casino database marketing, loyalty, CRM, and digital.
  • Fluency in customer lifetime value; ability to read a P&L and defend reinvestment decisions by segment.
  • Experience building teams and managing agencies.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing leadership in gaming, hospitality, or resorts.

Nice To Haves

  • Launch or turnaround experience preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Colorado or regional gaming experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the database by winning new members through geo-targeted digital, social, CTV, radio, and out-of-home advertising, focusing acquisition spend on guests with the highest lifetime value potential.
  • Build activation programs to encourage repeat visits.
  • Grow customer lifetime value by leading the Chamonix Rewards program, owning direct marketing with personalized offers, and implementing strategies to win back declining guests.
  • Partner with player development for integrated host outreach and marketing offers.
  • Build the brand by positioning Chamonix as Southern Colorado’s mountain escape and defining Bronco Billy’s role, leading creative, content, PR, and agency partners to ensure a unified brand voice.
  • Market the full resort offerings (hotel, dining, spa, entertainment, events) to drive overnight stays and length of stay.
  • Lead with data by setting annual and quarterly plans and budgets, reporting on KPIs and campaign ROI, and using guest research, database analytics, and competitive data to inform spending decisions.
  • Lead and mentor teams across acquisition, retention, and entertainment.
  • Collaborate with gaming, hotel, food and beverage, and finance departments to ensure marketing is central to the guest experience.
  • Represent the properties with local businesses, tourism partners, and the Cripple Creek community.
