About The Position

The Director of Marketing & Public Relations leads the organization's marketing, communications, and public relations efforts to strengthen brand awareness, support strategic growth initiatives, and promote healthcare services. This role develops and executes strategic marketing plans, oversees advertising, publications, media relations, digital marketing, community outreach, and physician recruitment marketing while serving as the organization's primary media spokesperson.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 2 years of marketing and/or public relations experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to perform occasional walking, lifting, and other physical activities as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Healthcare and supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing and public relations strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Create & manage advertising campaigns on television, radio, print, outdoor, and digital channels
  • Oversee social media strategy to increase engagement and brand awareness
  • Produce newsletters, brochures, presentations, and other marketing collateral
  • Provide accurate, timely information while maintaining confidentiality
  • Promote consumer education & engagement initiatives across multiple communication channels
  • Serve as media liaison and organizational spokesperson, including crisis communications
  • Build community partnerships, coordinate outreach initiatives, and manage news releases to promote services and organizational updates
  • Manage sponsorships, donations, and organizational participation in civic activities
  • Develop & manage the annual marketing budget; plan employee & physician recognition events
  • Support physician recruitment through communications, site visit coordination, reporting, and contract support
  • Prepare and implement the annual marketing plan
  • Perform other duties as assigned
