About The Position

Vicar’s Landing is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing and Sales to lead our independent living sales and marketing strategy across our Sawgrass and Oak Bridge communities. This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for driving occupancy, strengthening Vicar’s Landing brand, developing and leading our sales team, and creating an exceptional experience for prospective members from their first interaction with Vicar’s Landing through move-in. The ideal candidate brings together two important skill sets: a strong sales leader who knows how to build relationships and achieve results, and a strategic marketer who understands brand, lead generation, market positioning, and return on investment.

Requirements

5+ years of progressively responsible sales and marketing experience, including experience leading or supervising a sales team.
Demonstrated success achieving sales, occupancy, revenue, or comparable performance goals.
Strong understanding of CRM, pipeline management, conversion metrics, forecasting, and sales analytics.
Strong leadership, coaching, communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to operate strategically while maintaining strong execution and accountability within the sales process.

Nice To Haves

Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, luxury residential, real estate, or another relationship-driven service environment.
Experience marketing and selling a high-value, relationship-based product or service with a longer sales cycle.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Experience with brand strategy, digital marketing, public relations, and external marketing partners.
Experience coordinating residence renovations, customizations, or other operational components of the customer move-in experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the annual independent living sales and marketing strategy for Vicar’s Landing.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals serving our Sawgrass and Oak Bridge communities.
Establish and manage sales goals, pipeline activity, lead response, follow-up, tours, deposits, closings, and occupancy objectives.
Serve as a steward of the Vicar’s Landing brand, ensuring a consistent and compelling presence across advertising, digital content, events, presentations, signage, and other communications.
Develop lead-generation strategies using digital marketing, advertising, public relations, outreach, events, referral relationships, and member ambassadors.
Develop and manage the marketing and promotional budget, measuring results and adjusting investments to maximize effectiveness and ROI.
Monitor market conditions, demographics, competitors, pricing, amenities, and emerging senior living sales and marketing trends.
Build strong relationships with prospective members, current members, families, referral sources, community organizations, and professional partners.
Partner with department leaders to ensure Vicar’s Landing experience is consistent from the first prospect interaction through move-in.
