As the Director of Manufacturing, you will lead innovative workforce programs, champion student success, and build meaningful partnerships between education and industry. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a workforce-related field and two years of experience working in a technical field OR Associate's degree in a Workforce-related field and four years of experience working in a technical field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in secondary and/or community college career technical education programs as a faculty, coordinator, or director
  • Dual credit experience as a faculty, coordinator, or director working With a CTED and/or high school districts for articulation and program coordination
  • Experience providing service at the local and state-level advisory board
  • Current or past NCCER-certified instructor

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership, guidance, and support for all tasks and activities related to the development and delivery of the Manufacturing Program and Future 48 Workforce Accelerator, courses, and summer camp content.
  • Works closely with the Southwest Technical Education District of Yuma (STEDY).
  • Assists STEDY with recruiting new students into the Manufacturing Program.
  • Encourages and promotes the highest quality of instruction and student learning experience, which includes working closely to be the direct link between college-related technical instruction and business industry partners.
  • Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
