About The Position

The Director of Manufacturing leads operations at a KMM production site in Dickinson, North Dakota, or Kerrville, Texas, and reports to the COO. The role is accountable for safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing, including capacity planning, production scheduling, labor optimization, and factory-wide performance. The Director ensures products meet quality and regulatory standards and that customer commitments are fulfilled consistently. They lead and develop a multi-layered organization of manufacturing leaders and up to 250 employees, fostering accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. Using Lean principles and data-driven decision-making, the Director addresses operational challenges, improves throughput, reduces waste, and strengthens first-pass yield. The role works cross-functionally with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain. A pre-employment drug screen is required.

Requirements

• Deep experience in aerospace or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong QMS expertise.
• Leadership ability to align teams, optimize systems, and deliver sustained operational excellence.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
