Director of Maintenance
About The Position
The Maintenance Director will be responsible for ensuring the life safety of all residents, visitors, and employees within the facility. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing various systems within the facility, ensuring compliance with State Required Inspections according to State and Federal codes. The Director will collaborate with the Administrator and Regional Director of Plant Operations on facility improvements and work with other Department Heads to enhance the facility's inner workings. A key aspect of the role is ensuring the facility presents a welcoming, home-like appearance for all residents and visitors.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of five years in a working environment.
- Minimum two years construction or trade experience.
- Minimum one year management or supervisory experience.
- Prior experience within a health care environment with knowledge of State and Federal guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical experience preferred.
- LTC experience preferred.
Responsibilities
