Requirements

Basic computer skills
Ability to maintain records and complete reports as required, including web-based reporting
Written and oral communication skills
Ability to interact positively with residents, other personnel and the public
Good communication, interpersonal skills organizational skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Ability to work effectively with a team
Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort
People management and staff development

Nice To Haves

Experience in long term care and/or sub-acute setting preferred
Bi-lingual, English & Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

Establish a routine preventive maintenance program for all physical plant and equipment.
Ensure compliance with all Life Safety guidelines
Perform repairs and maintenance to major building systems
Perform repairs and maintenance to cosmetic building facets
Maintain the grounds (we perform this in-house)
Schedule and oversee outside contractors
Hands on knowledge and experience with maintenance tools and equipment
Oversee the housekeeping and laundry departments
Must have the ability to handle a physical workload
