This pivotal role will drive continuous improvement, support company-wide supply chain objectives, and build future-ready capabilities to meet evolving business demands.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in logistics
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
Strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities.
Deep expertise in WMS, ERP systems, and distribution operations.
Experience managing both union and non-union environments.
Proven track record in international logistics (freight, customs, 3PL).
Demonstrated ability to leverage technology for operational excellence: Clear understanding of effective and ineffective solutions. Strategic preparation for advanced technologies. Proficient in WMS, MRP, and related systems. Skilled in warehouse design and bin strategy optimization.

Nice To Haves

MBA or APICS certification preferred.
Robust Lean background, with emphasis on lean warehousing and material flow.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Optimize transportation modes, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
Lead warehousing operations to enhance safety, quality, cost efficiency, and delivery performance.
Ensure network optimization for omni-channel fulfillment.
Champion process and systems improvements, including automation and digital transformation.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing logistics team.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Oversee forecasting, budgeting, inventory management, and cost control initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve operational challenges and support business priorities.
Maintain continuity plans for critical operations and material flow.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
