About The Position

Glynlea Country Club is seeking a Director of Lifestyles & Membership to drive membership growth and engagement while creating a vibrant club environment. This leadership role involves developing and executing dynamic lifestyle programming, from social events to recreational and cultural experiences, to enhance the member experience and foster connections. The Director will serve as a key ambassador, cultivating a strong sense of community and positioning Glynlea as a premier lifestyle destination. Located on the Treasure Coast in Port St. Lucie, Glynlea Country Club at Wylder will feature a signature golf course, fitness facility, sports courts, dining options, and a resort-style pool.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, recreation, marketing, event planning, or a related field (or equivalent experience), required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in lifestyle programming, membership sales & services, or event management preferably in a club, HOA, or resort-style community setting.
  • CRM system experience required.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Community Manager Association (LCAM), preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, diplomatic, professional, and knowledgeable service to prospective members, current membership, and their guests.
  • Plan and coordinate marketing and membership relations programs to promote the Club’s services and facilities.
  • Maintain a database of prospective members in Hampton Golf’s CRM application, tracking the status of all prospects.
  • Maintain prospect follow-up times as directed.
  • Actively seek out new business clientele and member prospects to generate leads that develop into sales.
  • Present the facility to prospective members and pursue potential membership opportunities.
  • Solicit and acquire new Members while maintaining the integrity of the existing Member base to meet or exceed budget figures.
  • Complete processing of Member applications, profiles, and membership accounts/cards, and update the roster and database.
  • Update personnel on new Members, resignations, and special needs, and interact with departments to enhance the Membership experience.
  • Focus on member retention and coordinate member correspondence with the Hampton Golf Marketing department.
  • Help to integrate new Members into the Club.
  • Coordinate and work closely with the General Manager, Food & Beverage Director, Executive Chef, Director of Golf, and other Company Personnel on all Member & Lifestyle events.
  • Be knowledgeable of the club’s membership services, schedule of fees and charges, the billing process, guest policies, and rules and regulations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement resident programs, classes, instructors, and special community-wide events, soliciting input from residents.
  • Assist residents, clubs, chartered clubs, and community organizations in scheduling facilities, including programs and room requirements, coordinating with other departments, and arranging for fee collection.
  • Coordinate the development and publication of the community newsletter and other assigned lifestyle publications.
  • Work with residents to assist in the establishment of chartered clubs, providing assistance in the application process, facility space assignment, program development and promotion, file maintenance, and acting as general overseer.
  • Develop an active volunteer program among residents, providing for both promotion and recognition.
  • Oversee the Amenity Center’s staff or independent contractors and their activities.
  • Oversee the Banquet staff and budget.
  • Create and maintain the club calendar and newsletter with the assistance of the Hampton Golf marketing team.
  • Coordinate and manage resident committee/board correspondence.
  • Participate in hiring, training, directing, and supervising team members working within the amenity center or events sponsored within the community.
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure the facility is safe and presentable and that courtesy and efficiency are being exercised.
  • Operate within the guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints established by Hampton Golf.
  • Purchase and maintain supplies within budgetary constraints.
  • Protect the assets of the Club.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
