About The Position

It's a build-it-from-the-ground-up opportunity to shape how an entire luxury brand learns, grows, and delivers. As our Director of Learning & Development, you'll own the full employee journey, from a Carcierge's very first day to a Regional Director's next big promotion. You'll design certification programs, lead change in the field, and make professional growth our most powerful retention tool. Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; valid driver's license; current auto insurance or proof of insurability.
  • 7–10+ years in training, L&D, or people development
  • Bachelor's in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or Education
  • Expertise in instructional design, in-person & LMS
  • Experience building performance-tied certification programs
  • Strong grounding in adult learning principles
  • Track record driving engagement & retention through development
  • Field & organizational change management experience
  • Skill in training needs & job-task analysis
  • Multi-state compliance training design & tracking
  • Guest-experience training, luxury or hospitality a big plus
  • eLearning tools: Articulate 360, Rise, Captivate
  • Familiarity with AI & emerging learning technologies

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or L&D / instructional design certifications
  • Change management methodology (Prosci, ADKAR)
  • Kirkpatrick evaluation & training ROI

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute an enterprise-wide L&D vision that links every program to business goals, operational excellence, and career growth.
  • Build role-based learning pathways and certifications tied to core job duties — from Carcierge through VP — and keep them sharp as roles evolve.
  • Lead the learning side of operational change, equipping field teams across all locations to adopt new systems and processes fast and confidently.
  • Craft guest-experience training that upholds our luxury, five-star standards and keeps brand behaviors front and center.
  • Use Kirkpatrick-style evaluation to prove impact — tracking time-to-productivity, retention, promotions, and real business results.
  • Bring microlearning, mobile-first content, and AI-enabled tools to a distributed workforce that's always on the move.
  • Design Day 1 Orientation, brand immersion & systems access
  • Design Week 1 Role fundamentals & service standards
  • Design Month 1 Skill reinforcement & early coaching
  • Design 90 Days Proficiency validation & certification
