About The Position

The Director of Learning & Development (L&D) will be responsible for building and scaling programs that strengthen leadership capabilities, accelerate executive onboarding, and embed critical thinking across the organization. This role will design and execute strategies that ensure leaders at every level are equipped to thrive in a fast-moving, innovative environment. We are seeking a proven L&D executive who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on builder, someone who can partner with senior leadership, design impactful learning journeys, and create a culture of continuous growth. Note: This position is hybrid, requiring working 2 days per week out of our midtown NYC office.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in organizational development, psychology, education, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years leading L&D strategy in high-growth, global organizations; experience in SaaS, fintech, or similarly fast-paced industries ideal.
  • Expertise: Proven success designing leadership and executive development programs, with an emphasis on critical thinking and onboarding.
  • Influence & Collaboration: Exceptional ability to build credibility with executives and foster cross-functional partnerships.
  • Strategic Agility: Track record of creating programs that thrive in environments of ambiguity and rapid growth.
  • Global Mindset: Experience scaling learning across geographies and cultures.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver programs that cultivate critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills at all leadership levels.
  • Establish frameworks that help leaders navigate ambiguity, scale teams, and drive enterprise-wide alignment.
  • Build a best-in-class onboarding experience for executives and senior hires that accelerates their impact and deepens their connection to SecurityScorecard's culture.
  • Develop onboarding pathways tailored for different functions and global markets.
  • Define the long-term L&D strategy aligned with business objectives and growth goals.
  • Develop curricula covering leadership, cross-functional collaboration, performance management, and inclusion.
  • Partner with HRBPs and People Operations to integrate L&D initiatives with engagement, talent reviews, and succession planning.
  • Use learning as a lever to strengthen employee engagement, retention, and organizational resilience.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting to measure the impact of learning programs on leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and business outcomes.
  • Continuously iterate based on feedback and organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with executives, business unit leaders, and functional heads to diagnose needs and co-create scalable solutions.
  • Serve as a thought partner to the CPO, CHRO, and other senior leaders on organizational effectiveness.
