About The Position

Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a Director of Launch Production. This role involves developing and leading a full-scale production capability within Valkyrie, encompassing the successful execution of technical, financial, and schedule aspects for delivering launch capabilities across customers. This includes design, manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics, and services. The position requires developing and implementing a 5-year strategic plan for launcher and launch services across the Department of War (DoW), covering ground-based, sea-based, and air-launched assets. This plan will involve a strategic market assessment, an action plan, and recommended investments. Additionally, the role involves developing and prosecuting an accretive 5-year pipeline of opportunities using both FAR-based contracts and Other Transactions to achieve strategic goals. The Director will advise leadership on company vision, directions, and pipeline development for select markets, and will develop and implement market and product strategies to expand current markets and create new ones.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM Field
At least 20 years relevant work experience with DoW programs / projects.
Demonstrated success and experience in growing an organization including maintaining and current and legacy efforts, capturing new business, recruiting, hiring, and personnel management.
Demonstrated experience in successfully managing organizational P&L to include profit/EBITDA growth and indirect and rate management.
Experience developing, winning, establishment and executing contracts, OTAs and task orders.
Must be a self-starter
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain the clearance.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree preferred.
Top Secret, SCI security clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead a full scale production capability within Valkyrie.
Oversee the successful execution of the full spectrum of technical, financial and schedule for the deliver of launch capability across our customers: design, manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics and services.
Develop and implement a 5-year strategic plan for launcher and launch services across the DoW, to include ground based, sea-based and air launched assets.
Conduct a strategic market assessment along with an action plan and recommended investments.
Develop and prosecute an accretive 5 year pipeline of opportunities using both FAR based contracts and Other transactions that will achieve the goals set forth in the 5-year strategic plan.
Advise leadership and assist in company vision, directions, and pipeline development of select markets.
Develop and implement market and product strategies leading to expansion of current markets and creation of new markets and products.
