About The Position

Circle of Care is seeking a passionate Director of Kinship Navigator Program to provide program and administrative oversight of Kinship Navigator Specialists and Caregiver Educators. This role is for individuals driven by purpose, fueled by compassion, and committed to making a difference in the lives of children and families. The position is based in Tulsa, OK, and serves surrounding counties.

Requirements

• Knowledge of management techniques and supervisory best practices.
• Knowledge of kinship family dynamics and systems.
• Competency in administrative, management and supervisory tasks
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, including speaking in front of groups.
• Strong knowledge and skill-based expertise in child welfare or applicable field
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
• Able to maintain confidentiality, exhibit mature judgment
• Demonstrate knowledge of kinship care, children, and families.
• Committed to Christ-centered service and passionate about the mission of foster care
• Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field of study
• 5+ years of experience in social services, education, or a related field required
• 2 years supervisory experience
• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Ability to pass background check, pre-employment drug screening, and physical
• Minimum age 21 years old

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Experience with kinship care and navigated the child welfare, legal, educational, and health systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with kinship Navigator Specialist, Caregiver Educators, groups, organizations, and institutions to identify, connect to, and effectively utilize community resources
• Ensure quality standards and services delivery of program.
• Develops, implements, and monitors the budget and program outcomes
• Manages the services performed by employees, contracted staff, students, trainees and volunteers within the assigned program area(s).
• Organizes training opportunities and sharing of staff expertise for assigned program areas, in addition to participating in orientation for new employees.
• Ensure timely product outcomes
