Our teams meet patients and families where they are-private homes, nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and our inpatient center. Your life as the Director of IT This is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic oversight and direction of the organization's IT and systems operations. You will ensure the continuous operation of integrated clinical and administrative information systems, strengthen security and compliance, and partner with leaders across the organization to improve workflows, reliability, and service delivery. You will supervise IT staff (including system administrators and help desk team members), coach and develop direct reports, and help build a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Training/experience in development and integration of computer systems (required)
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows-based programs (required)
  • Working knowledge of networking systems (firewalls, routers, switches)
  • Working knowledge of internet technologies and communication systems
  • Project management experience (planning, monitoring, executing projects)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize work and delegate appropriately
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT regulations and standards
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (or related software) and quick to learn new platforms
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and implement strategic initiatives
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of compassion, collaboration, and excellence
  • This is a leadership position that primarily works standard business hours, with the ability to respond to urgent issues as needed (including occasional irregular hours in support of organizational operations).

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred
  • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CGEIT, and/or CPHIMS
  • Experience with practice management, financial management, and/or clinical management information systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for IT operations, systems, and service delivery across the organization
  • Evaluate, select, implement, and maintain IT systems that support clinical and administrative workflows
  • Ensure reliable, secure, and compliant operation of integrated information systems
  • Establish and maintain IT standards, policies, procedures, and service metrics
  • Oversee IT security, privacy, and risk management to protect systems and data integrity
  • Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning for timely restoration of IT services
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level expectations
  • Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets; monitor costs and resource utilization
  • Communicate IT plans, priorities, and changes clearly to leaders and staff
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and accountability for IT team members
