Director of Investigations
About The Position
Lauth Investigations International is a premier, Indianapolis-based investigative agency seeking a high-profile executive leader to join their Circle City headquarters. This role will lead the Investigations Division into its next chapter of growth. The Director of Investigations will be the primary investigative and operational touchstone for the firm, leading a team of PIs, managing day-to-day functions, and spearheading criminal, civil, and proprietary investigations. The ideal candidate will be an Indy-Ready Leader, either a current resident or willing to relocate to the Indianapolis area, a Strategic Change Agent, and an Adept Communicator.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (US-accredited) required.
- 5+ years of former law enforcement (commander level preferred) or significant corporate leadership experience.
- 5+ years of investigations and surveillance.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, labor KPIs, and operating margins.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to be on-call 24/7 with extensive travel as required.

- MBA is a plus.
- Willing to relocate to the Indianapolis area.
Responsibilities
- Lead investigative teams, conduct case intakes, and oversee 1099 investigators.
- Manage division budgets, track case profitability, and drive growth margins.
- Represent Lauth at professional conferences and networking events throughout Indiana and beyond.
- Oversee marketing campaigns and leverage CRM/AI tools to expand our client base.
