About The Position

The Director of Intramurals selects and promotes activities, administers the program efficiently, and integrates the work of the program with that of the entire school.

Responsibilities

• Arranging dates for events.
• Preparing an intramural budget for the coming year.
• Preparing all equipment and facilities needed for all events.
• Issuing advance publicity of events.
• Creating and assigning game and practice schedules.
• Meeting with student officials and reviewing playing rules with all participants.
• Determining eligibility and checking on all injuries.
• Assigning officials and examining all score sheets following games.
• Being present, or having a responsible person present at all activities.
• Making certain that locker rooms have been cleaned before locking in.
• Tabulating results and keeping league standings.
• Acquiring and distributing awards.
