Temple University's Center for Performing & Cinematic Arts is searching for a Director of Instrumental Studies. This role provides wide-ranging day-to-day support to the faculty, staff, and students within the Instrumental Studies department. Responsibilities include coordinating financial transactions, contracts, travel, and purchasing activities, processing payments, preparing and routing agreements, coordinating travel for guest artists, monitoring departmental budgets, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely submission of contract documentation. This position also serves as the Instrumental Ensemble Librarian, overseeing the acquisition, organization, preparation, distribution, and preservation of music for the university's instrumental ensembles. This includes managing a library supporting various instrumental programs, coordinating music purchases and rentals, maintaining inventories, supervising graduate assistants, conducting research, and collaborating with faculty and conductors.
