About The Position

The Director Institutional Effectiveness for the Mount Carmel College of Nursing leads assessment, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement (CQI) efforts within the College in support of academic and operational excellence, accreditation/regulatory compliance, and mission achievement. This position will require strong data analytics skills and leadership experience in higher education.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or PhD (or equivalent research doctorate).
  • Five or more years of experience with evaluation in higher education; institutional effectiveness, institutional research.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Expertise in qualitative data, survey design, higher education administration, and accreditation
  • Advanced knowledge in developing student learning outcomes, program reviews, managing committee reviews and approvals, writing strategic plans

Responsibilities

  • Provides effective leadership for College-wide assessment, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement efforts to support College and MCHS mission and strategic goal achievement.
  • Leader of the accreditation, compliance, and professional issues landscape and conveys key information to College leaders, faculty, staff, and students, as appropriate.
  • Develops and maintains College assessment and evaluation plans with input from the President, Academic Dean, Faculty Councils, College Assembly, and Evaluation/CQI Committee.
  • Leads the President and College Board of Trustees in developing, monitoring, and evaluating the College's strategic plan and Enterprise Resource Plan.
  • Identifies and implements monitoring of key performance indicators of College academic and operational health.
  • Assists the President and Director of Finance with budget planning, analysis, and evaluation.
  • Directs the collection, analysis, and reporting of assessment and evaluation data to both internal and external constituents. Coordinates institutional research and regular public reporting efforts with Enrollment & Student Services.
  • Prepares and administers official College surveys to both internal and external constituents.
  • Ensures the integrity and security of institutional data by adopting best-practice approaches to data collection, extraction, analysis, reporting, organization, and storage.
  • Devises and maintains up-to-date policies and procedures for assessment and evaluation.
  • Meets population specific and all other competencies according to department requirements.
  • Promotes a Culture of Safety by adhering to policy, procedures and plans that are in place to prevent workplace injury, violence or adverse outcome to associates and patients.
