About The Position

We are seeking a Director of Infrastructure to help lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and support of enterprise infrastructure services. This role will drive operational excellence across cloud, network, systems, and infrastructure platforms while ensuring security, reliability, scalability, and performance. This role partners closely with Engineering, Software Development/Operations (DevOps), Security Operations (SecOps), and other business teams to deliver technology solutions that support business objectives and organizational growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science Information Systems or a related field required
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering, operations, or systems administration
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing infrastructure teams and driving large-scale technology initiatives with hands-on leadership approach
  • Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, enterprise systems, networking, and virtualization technologies
  • Demonstrated success leading infrastructure projects and operational improvements in complex environments
  • Knowledge of infrastructure security practices, compliance requirements, and risk management
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Ability to work in the Dallas office, as this is not a remote position
  • All applicants must be legally authorized to work in and currently reside in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Advanced certifications such as ITIL, public cloud certifications or related infrastructure certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide layered leadership for the day-to-day operations of enterprise infrastructure environments, ensuring system availability, performance, security, and scalability
  • Partner with DevOps, Engineering, Security, and other teams to execute infrastructure strategies and technology initiatives
  • Oversee cloud, server, storage, virtualization, and network infrastructure operations
  • Direct infrastructure modernization efforts, including automation, monitoring, capacity planning, and performance optimization
  • Establish and maintain infrastructure standards, policies, procedures, and operational best practices
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements
  • Lead business continuity, disaster recovery, backup, and resilience planning initiatives
  • Manage change management processes and operational governance to minimize risk and ensure stable system delivery
  • Manage vendor relationships, service providers, contracts, software licensing, and infrastructure spending
  • Monitor infrastructure performance metrics and service levels while identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution for critical infrastructure services
  • Build, mentor, and develop infrastructure professionals through coaching, performance management, and career development
  • Manage infrastructure budgets and resource planning in support organizational objectives
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability
