The Director of Information Technology is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of the organization’s enterprise IT capabilities, including infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of IT and Supply Chain, this role ensures the delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable technology services across all locations. This position plays a critical role in advancing the organization’s technology environment by establishing enterprise standards for governance, systems architecture, and cybersecurity. The Director is also accountable for driving digital transformation initiatives, including the adoption of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics, to enhance operational performance, resilience, and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline required
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise IT environments
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary IT teams across infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity functions
  • One or more of the following certifications required: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CCSP
  • Demonstrated experience developing and leading enterprise cybersecurity programs, including implementation of recognized frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls)
  • Proven ability to lead incident response and cyber crisis management efforts
  • Experience with enterprise Microsoft environments, including Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, and security architecture preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems
  • Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, and financial system integration
  • Proven ability to lead through subordinate leaders and manage complex organizational structures
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive enterprise adoption of technology initiatives

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Prior experience in complex, multi-site manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
  • Epicor experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for enterprise IT operations, ensuring consistent, reliable technology services across all sites
  • Oversee infrastructure, systems administration, applications, and end-user support functions
  • Establish performance standards and promote a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive enterprise cybersecurity program aligned with industry standards and evolving threats
  • Lead efforts to identify, assess, and mitigate technology-related risks across the organization
  • Direct incident response, crisis management, and recovery activities in coordination with executive leadership and external partners
  • Develop and execute enterprise technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
  • Lead the responsible adoption of emerging technologies, including AI, machine learning, automation, and advanced analytics
  • Drive organizational change management initiatives related to digital transformation
  • Ensure the stability, performance, and lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure, including cloud platforms and end-user systems
  • Provide strategic oversight of enterprise business systems, including ERP platforms
  • Lead ERP optimization, integration, and consolidation initiatives to maximize business value, particularly within manufacturing and supply chain functions
  • Establish and enforce enterprise IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, contractual, and security requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align technology capabilities with operational and strategic business needs
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing IT workforce
