About The Position

InVue Director of Information Technology & Internal Systems Charlotte, NC (in office 3x week) As Director of Information Technology and Internal Systems, you will be responsible for the strategy, operation, security, governance, and continual improvement of InVue's internal technology environment. You will provide leadership for the systems, infrastructure, applications, policies, vendors, and technology investments that enable InVue employees and business functions to operate securely and effectively. Reporting to the EVP of Software Solutions and Information Technology, you will own InVue's internal cybersecurity posture and information technology governance. You will establish, maintain, review, and enforce IT policies and standards; identify and manage technology and cybersecurity risks; and ensure that appropriate controls are implemented across InVue's internal technology environment. You will provide oversight of InVue's information technology budget and technology investments, ensuring that hardware, software, infrastructure, licensing, services, and other technology expenditures are appropriately governed, cost-effective, secure, and aligned with business priorities. The role will have responsibility for the technology used internally by InVue, including employee computing, corporate networks, identity and access management, collaboration platforms, enterprise applications, infrastructure, telecommunications, software licensing, and related technology services. In addition to traditional information technology responsibilities, you will provide leadership and strategic direction for InVue's core enterprise business platforms, including its ERP and CRM environments. You will work closely with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Service, and other business functions to ensure these platforms support InVue's business processes, data requirements, reporting needs, and continued growth. You will also serve as InVue's primary Information Technology liaison to ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, representing InVue on corporate and divisional IT matters and ensuring effective communication, coordination, and alignment between InVue and ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive Information Technology experience, including at least 5 years in an IT leadership or management role with responsibility for enterprise technology operations, systems, or strategy.
  • Significant experience providing leadership for ERP platforms and enterprise business systems, including system strategy, business-process alignment, integrations, enhancements, data management, upgrades, and ongoing platform improvement.
  • Experience providing leadership or oversight for CRM platforms and the business processes they support, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, reporting, and related system integrations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing corporate cybersecurity programs or responsibilities, including security governance, information technology policies, identity and access management, endpoint security, vulnerability and risk management, security incident response, and employee security practices.
  • Strong working knowledge of modern enterprise IT environments, including corporate networks, endpoints, identity platforms, Microsoft 365 or similar collaboration platforms, cloud services, SaaS applications, telecommunications, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Experience establishing, reviewing, implementing, and enforcing information technology policies, standards, controls, and operating procedures.
  • Experience managing relationships with managed service providers, technology vendors, consultants, software providers, and other external technology partners.
  • Experience working in a multi-site, international, manufacturing, distribution, technology, or similarly operationally complex business environment is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and significant relevant professional experience will be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ITIL, PMP, Microsoft, or comparable technology or security certifications are valued but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain InVue's information technology strategy and technology roadmap in alignment with company objectives and business priorities.
  • Provide leadership and direction for InVue's internal technology environment, including infrastructure, end-user technology, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and technology services.
  • Ensure IT initiatives support business growth, operational efficiency, security, scalability, and employee productivity.
  • Serve as InVue's primary Information Technology liaison to ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions.
  • Coordinate implementation of applicable ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions technology standards, policies, cybersecurity requirements, and governance practices within InVue.
  • Communicate InVue-specific business and technology requirements to ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions and advocate for solutions that appropriately support InVue's operating needs.
  • Coordinate with ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions on shared infrastructure, enterprise applications, identity and access management, cybersecurity, technology architecture, and other areas where InVue systems interact with or are governed by broader ASSA ABLOY technology capabilities.
  • Evaluate the impact of ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions technology initiatives on InVue and lead or coordinate required implementation and organizational change activities.
  • Own and continually improve InVue's internal cybersecurity posture.
  • Establish, maintain, review, communicate, and enforce information technology and cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure appropriate security controls are implemented across endpoints, networks, identities, enterprise applications, infrastructure, and cloud-based internal services.
  • Lead internal technology risk assessments and ensure identified risks and vulnerabilities are appropriately prioritized and remediated.
  • Promote security awareness and employee compliance with InVue and applicable ASSA ABLOY technology and cybersecurity policies.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for InVue's corporate networks, connectivity, employee computers and devices, identity systems, collaboration platforms, telecommunications, conference-room technology, and related infrastructure.
  • Establish standards for technology procurement, configuration, deployment, support, replacement, and retirement.
  • Ensure internal technology services are reliable, secure, scalable, appropriately supported, and capable of meeting business requirements.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for InVue's ERP, CRM, and other critical enterprise business systems.
  • Establish and maintain roadmaps for ERP and CRM capabilities aligned with business priorities and organizational growth.
  • Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Service, and other functions to understand business requirements and translate them into technology priorities.
  • Establish processes for evaluating, prioritizing, and delivering enterprise-system enhancements and projects.
  • Establish visibility into technology spending across hardware, software, SaaS subscriptions, infrastructure, telecommunications, professional services, and other technology categories.
  • Manage strategic technology vendors and ensure vendor performance, costs, contractual commitments, security considerations, and business value are appropriately evaluated.
  • Provide appropriate forecasting and reporting of technology expenditures to Finance and executive leadership.
