About The Position
The Director of Information Services provides strategic direction and oversight of IT resources by developing, maintaining, and implementing the agency IT Strategic Plan; overseeing system development, acquisition, and maintenance efforts; and aligning resources and assets across DEQ operations to meet the agency mission and strategic goals. Directs the activities of the Office of Information Services team and ensures day-to-day support of agency IT systems, assets, and infrastructure. Plans, organizes, and monitors the activities of highly skilled technical staff, and collaborates with a variety of DEQ and external stakeholders to align the goals, workload, and resources to meet individual project plans and the broader IT Strategic Plan objectives.
Requirements
- Must be able to work from the assigned work location in Virginia.
