As the Director of Security, you will lead information security at Textio, ensuring ongoing alignment of our security and risk management strategy with overall business objectives. You’ll collaborate closely with senior leadership to understand deeply what our quickly growing business needs. You’ll also be hands-on in implementing this strategy: establishing the policies, procedures, tools, and audit cadence to meet our security and compliance objectives.

Requirements

Experience passing external audits.
Experience with common security standards such as SOC 2 Type 2, GDPR, ISO 27001/27018, and PCI.
Practical and strategic approach to security and risk management.
Deep knowledge of security standard methodologies and how to model them at many levels: in the organization, in processes, in code, and in infrastructure.
Experience building a security program, from writing policy to implementing foundational security tooling, from the ground up.
A track record of trying and learning new things.
Low ego.

Responsibilities
