Requirements

  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Radiology Tech licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Mgmt Agency required in combination with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of leadership/management experience managing staff, budgets, and multiple modalities.
  • Background in physician relations and radiologist practice management.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all imaging services across various modalities, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and PET.
  • Manage departmental budgets, capital equipment procurement, and all vendor maintenance agreements.
  • Drive strategic initiatives for infrastructure, freestanding imaging strategy, and PACS.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Joint Commission and regulatory standards while managing Quality Assurance programs.
  • Lead 52 FTE staff and serve as the primary liaison between radiologists, residents, and leadership.
