About The Position

Lead the people strategy that powers exceptional hospitality experiences. As the Director of Human Resources, you will oversee HR operations for the University of Michigan hospitality program, supporting recruitment, team member engagement, training, compliance, and leadership development. This role will ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent while aligning with Levy’s culture and operational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of HR leadership experience
  • Knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS systems and workforce planning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospitality, sports & entertainment, or high-volume service environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment strategies for management and hourly team members
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and development programs
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Partner with operational leaders on workforce planning and staffing strategies
