Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7+ years of HR related experience in roles of growing scope
  • Knowledge and understanding in handling complex employee relations matters, federal, state & local employment laws and regulations, benefits administration, compensation, recruitment, retention and talent management processes.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with others across teams, departments and levels to achieve shared goals.
  • High degree of autonomy and strong decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal & external customers by understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Ability to understand business context and leverage relevant data, interpret what the data means and what story it tells
  • Applies human resources expertise and business insight to lead critical projects and/or relationships.
  • Influences and aligns business decisions through advice and counsel with leaders and cross-functional partners
  • Adjust quickly to new situations or priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop HR strategy and strategic workforce plans that align to the US business.
  • Oversee and update as needed: recruitment & workforce planning, performance management, training and development, employee relations, policies and processes to align with the business.
  • Develop talent management plans and drive initiatives by partnering with managers to attract, retain, develop, and engage talent in critical roles.
  • Leads, develops, and mentors a team of HR professionals on all HR services delivered.
  • Build and drive a culture of employee engagement to improve business performance and efficiency.
  • Ensures appropriate communications, training and change management programs are carried out to successfully deploy new and/or expanded HR services and processes.
  • Counsel and/or mentor employees and managers regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitation of formal/informal complaints to resolution, disciplinary action and/or terminations in line with company policies and legal practices.
  • Collaborate with global HR team on corporate wide benefits and talent lifecycle initiatives.
