Join the team at the FORTH Hotel as our Director of Human Resources and play a key role in shaping the employee experience at one of the city’s most exciting hospitality destinations. Your Impact As Director of Human Resources, you will lead all aspects of HR for the property, serving as a trusted advisor to leadership and a champion for our team members. You’ll bring energy, creativity, and strong business acumen to attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 4 years of HR experience; hotel experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Proven experience in recruiting, retention, and employee engagement
  • Ability to manage a diverse workforce with professionalism and discretion
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment
  • Flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead all HR functions including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, and HR programs
  • Develop and execute innovative strategies to attract and retain top hospitality talent
  • Drive employee engagement and cultivate a positive, high-performing culture
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, OSHA)
  • Implement performance management, recognition, and development programs
  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals
  • Serve as a resource and advisor to managers and team members on HR matters
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to continuously elevate HR practices
