About The Position

SSCBR, a multi-year recipient of Baton Rouge Business Report Best Places to Work, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to support our engaged healthcare workforce. Under the direction of the CEO, the Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, compliance, and culture initiatives. The HR Director develops and implements HR strategies to meet the hospital’s goals and objectives. The position is responsible for recruitment, employee relations, conflict resolution, compliance with applicable state/federal laws and healthcare regulations, and partnering with department leaders regarding conflict resolution, retention, and coaching/disciplinary processes. Ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills and experience in HR Information Systems.

Requirements

• 2 years Human Resources supervisory or management role required
• Degree in Human Resources or equivalent training or experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience in HR Information Systems
