About The Position

SGA Dental Partners is hiring a Director of HRIS to provide strategic leadership for the organization's HR technology ecosystem, including Workday HCM. The role is responsible for HRIS governance, workforce analytics, system optimization, data integrity, compliance, and digital transformation initiatives that support business objectives and enhance the employee experience. The Director will develop and execute the HR technology roadmap, oversee Workday configuration and performance, and partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Learning & Development, and Recruiting to optimize processes and data flow. The role also supports organizational growth, restructuring, acquisitions, and workforce initiatives; manages HR technology vendor relationships; and leads analytics, reporting, change management, and user adoption. The position leads, mentors, and develops HRIS team members and promotes innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. It is eligible for remote work in specified states. New hires must pass a full-panel drug screening as a condition of employment.

Requirements

Extensive Workday experience with administration, configuration, security, reporting, and integrations.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
7+ years of progressive HRIS experience.
3+ years of leadership experience managing teams, projects, or enterprise HR technology initiatives.
Experience supporting multi-state organizations and leading system implementations and enhancements.
Advanced Workday HCM expertise, including configuration, security, reporting, and integrations.
Strong knowledge of HR technology strategy, governance, and process improvement.
Experience with HRIS architecture, business processes, and system optimization.
Proficiency in reporting and analytics tools, including Power BI.
Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Learning, and Leave functions.
Proven leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
Commitment to data security, privacy, and compliance.
Ability to pass a full-panel drug screening as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute an HR technology roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
Lead HRIS governance, data management, and digital transformation initiatives.
Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Learning & Development, and Recruiting to optimize processes and data flow.
Support organizational growth, restructuring, acquisitions, and strategic workforce initiatives.
Manage HR technology vendor relationships and service delivery.
Oversee Workday configuration, security, business processes, integrations, and system performance.
Lead system enhancements, releases, testing, and implementation of new functionality.
Maintain HR data security, access controls, audit readiness, and system governance.
Evaluate and recommend technologies and process improvements.
Develop and maintain workforce analytics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
Provide insights for workforce planning, turnover analysis, compensation planning, and organizational effectiveness.
Establish reporting standards and ensure data accuracy across HR systems.
Lead, mentor, and develop HRIS team members.
Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Lead change management and user adoption for HR technology initiatives.
