The SafeChoice Director of Housing Services provides strategic leadership and oversight for SafeChoice housing programs, including but not limited to: eviction prevention or diversion, rapid re-housing, transitional housing, and related housing supports. This position ensures housing services are survivor-centered, trauma-informed, accessible, and aligned with YWCA Clark County’s mission, values, contract obligations, and domestic violence best practices. The Director works closely with the Director of Shelter Services, the Director of Domestic Violence Community Services, and other agency leaders to strengthen housing assessment access, service coordination, cross-program collaboration, and responsive support for survivors throughout the agency’s service area. This position oversees program implementation, staff supervision and development, data quality and reporting, compliance requirements, housing program budgets, and community partnerships. The Director of Housing Services demonstrates mission-aligned leadership by maintaining healthy work-life boundaries, communicating directly and respectfully, centering accountability, encouraging continuous improvement, celebrating success, and providing stability during crisis. This position may provide direct service support when needed.
