Requirements

  • Extensive senior-level housekeeping leadership experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
  • Deep understanding of large-scale housekeeping operations, labor planning, and quality systems.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop management teams.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and vendor negotiations.
  • Experience with luxury brand standards, Forbes Travel Guide, and AAA requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and executive presence.
  • Ability to manage complex operations and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, push, pull, and move throughout the property.
  • Ability to inspect guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move items such as linens, supplies, trash, and cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to use computers, phones, and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment per job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, coaching, and empowering Housekeeping Supervisors and Curators to achieve career growth and operational excellence.
  • Overseeing the rigorous inspection of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to guarantee flawless cleanliness.
  • Managing labor models, daily assignments, room status tracking, and high-volume turnover efficiency.
  • Designing and implementing training programs focused on advanced cleaning procedures, safety standards, and guest service expectations.
  • Partnering with the Front Office Director to strategically manage VIP arrivals, special requests, and optimal room readiness.
  • Controlling departmental expenses, ordering supplies, managing linen inventory, and keeping capital expenditures on track.
  • Communicating seamlessly with Maintenance/Engineering to execute preventative room care and immediate repairs.
  • Fostering an inclusive, positive team environment where all curators feel respected, valued, and set up for success.
  • Taking ultimate accountability for the microscopic details that guests may not always consciously see but always feel.
