About The Position

Cascade Medical, located in downtown Leavenworth, is seeking a full-time Director of HIM and Revenue Integrity. This role is responsible for the comprehensive management and integrity of patient health records, ensuring adherence to all federal and state regulations, including HIPAA. The Director will manage the daily operations of HIM services, encompassing medical record processing, coding, transcription, release of information, and privacy practices. This position is vital for maintaining accurate documentation, billing compliance, and quality reporting in a rural healthcare setting that uses the Meditech system. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the hospital's revenue integrity functions to guarantee accurate charge capture, billing compliance, and maximum reimbursement. The Director will ensure seamless integration between patient access, clinical documentation, coding, billing, and reimbursement processes, all while upholding regulatory compliance. This leadership position involves guiding a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with clinical, financial, and compliance departments to identify and address revenue leakage and integrity concerns.
