About The Position
An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the Hampton, NH area for a local individual with 5+ years’ experience as an Nursing Manager/Director of Nursing with a background in long-term care, elderly and rehabilitative nursing. Requirements
- 5+ years of Nursing Management experience in a long-term care, elderly, and/or rehabilitative care facility
- Active Registered Nursing (RN) licensure in the State of New Hampshire
- Certification in CPR, Medication Administration, and Intravenous Administration
- Nursing Degree from accredited institution
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience developing/managing an RAI (Resident Assessment Instrument) program
Responsibilities
- Planning, developing, organizing, and leading nursing services, programs, activities - all in accordance to current rules, regulations, and guidelines governing long term care facilities
- Managing/delegating nursing personnel
- Reviewing nurse’s notes for accuracy
- Monitoring medication passes and treatment schedules
- Ensuring all are within acceptable nursing standards
