Director of Health Services (DHS) - RN - Assisted Living/Memory Care
About The Position
Come join the Catholic Eldercare family as our RN Director of Health Services! This is a unique DHS position that offers a split role in our two Assisted Living communities, each of which have their own Nurse Manager and Nursing team that you oversee. The communities are both in Northeast Minneapolis, just a couple of miles apart. This position typically works business hours M-F, but may get infrequent calls - we do utilize a nurse triage system so the position does not require on-call hours on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Current RN license to practice in the State of Minnesota
- Assisted Living experience required
Responsibilities
- Oversee the provision and quality of Assisted Living services for two Assisted Living communities: MainStreet Lodge (51 apartments) and RiverVillage East (70 apartments, with Memory Care).
- Provide leadership and oversight of all nursing team members and healthcare services for Assisted Living residents, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Work closely with other community nurses and the operations team to maintain and update Assisted Living policies and procedures.
- Conduct audits.
- Assure that relationships and customer service with residents, staff, and families is top-notch.
