About The Position

We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years. We're looking for a Director of Growth Strategy to help determine where the company grows next. This person will sit at the intersection of strategy, market intelligence, business development, and executive leadership—translating defense priorities, customer demand, and competitive dynamics into actionable growth plans.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in strategy consulting, defense strategy, business strategy, corporate development, or growth strategy
  • Exceptional analytical and structured problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to synthesize large amounts of ambiguous information into clear recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
  • Experience building quantitative models, market analyses, and strategic plans
  • Comfortable working directly with senior military leaders, government stakeholders, and executives
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions without direct authority
  • Able to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities evolve quickly

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with U.S. Department of Defense acquisition, budgeting, or force modernization.
  • Understanding of defense procurement pathways and operational military organizations.
  • Experience in management consulting, venture-backed technology companies, or defense technology startups.
  • Familiarity with autonomous systems, drones, robotics, AI, or defense technology.
  • MBA or equivalent strategic leadership experience.
