About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Director of Group Living at Fort Myers Academy in Fort Myers, Florida. Ft. Myers Academy (FMYA) is a moderate risk, all-female program, contracted through the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, which offers comprehensive care and treatment, specializing in evidence-based intensive mental health services. The academy is dedicated to providing high-quality care in a serene and supportive environment, designed to promote healing and recovery for individuals facing mental health challenges. With a focus on evidence-based practices, Ft. Myers Academy ensures that each client receives personalized, effective treatment tailored to their specific needs. Requirements

Possess a BA/BS in related field
Four years of related experience in residential facility management.
Be at least 21 years of age
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
Must be able to meet the requirements of an ROP-eligible driver, including having a valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree is preferred

Responsibilities

Oversees residential services and living units.
Serves as the Program Director in his/her absence.
Manages all available resources in a manner that provides the students with the highest level of care.
Ensures the Rite of Passage program is being implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State and Local licensing requirements.
Supervises the Shift Supervisors and direct care staff.
