Burrell College School of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a Director of Graduate Medical Education (GME). The Director is responsible for management and oversight of Burrell’s GME Office, including supervision of staff and budgetary management. The Director will work collaboratively with internal and external parties to facilitate the development of new graduate medical education programs and support existing programs affiliated with the College. The Director of GME supports the Dean of the Burrell College School of Osteopathic Medicine in the development of long-range planning and oversight of compliance in GME activities. The Director will oversee and coordinate all contracted services to affiliated GME providers from various College departments and consultants. The Director will serve as the College’s liaison to affiliate GME providers to ensure administrative and academic services are effectively provided. The College has successfully received both public and private sponsored funding in the past in support of GME initiatives, and has currently active proposals which, if awarded, would significantly expand the scope of the GME department’s responsibility and staffing. The Director of GME will work with the Dean or other College faculty and staff on new Grant applications for GME development and provide technical and administrative oversight for existing grants. This position reports to the Dean of the Burrell College School of Osteopathic Medicine. This position is exempt.
