The Merrimack County Department of Corrections serves the community and its criminal justice system by providing security, supervision, and assistance to persons remanded to our custody. Our policy is to meet or exceed the standards set by the American Correctional Association, the National Commission of Correctional Healthcare, the New Hampshire Association of Counties, and the Merrimack County Board of Commissioners. The Food Services Director oversees the daily food service operation and provide a high quality food service to the Department of Corrections. The Director of Food Services is responsible for the planning, organizing, developing and directing the operation of the Corrections Food Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and county standards, policies and procedures, and regulations governing the Department of Corrections facility.
