Requirements
- ServSafe or CDM certification preferred
- Experience in a dietary or healthcare setting (long term care preferred)
- Knowledge of nutrition, dietetics, and special dietary needs
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with care plans and resident-centered care a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals for residents, including special diets and modified textures
- Help develop menus and meal plans based on resident needs
- Assist with resident dietary assessments and care plans
- Ensure food quality, safety, and presentation standards are met
- Supervise kitchen staff and support daily operations
- Manage inventory, ordering, and kitchen organization
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
