About The Position

We are looking for a high-performing Director of Finance. You will be the primary architect of our financial engine and a key strategic partner to the leadership team. You will own everything from high-level preparation and board reporting to the foundational plumbing of our daily accounting operations. We’re looking for a builder who thrives in ambiguity, loves a clean spreadsheet, and can explain the "why" behind the numbers to every stakeholder in the company. About Us: STAN is the largest provider of AI solutions for HOA and Condo Property Managers. We are using cutting-edge and patented artificial intelligence technology to build solutions that enhance life for residents of more than 2.5 million+ homes across North America. Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally with a mix of "Big 4" accounting/IB and a leadership role at a high-growth VC-backed startup.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills—you should be able to build complex, dynamic models that are both robust and easy for others to navigate.
  • The ability to look past the data to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • A "no task is too small" mentality. You’re comfortable jumping between a board deck and an un-categorized transaction in accounting software.
  • Exceptional ability to distill complex financial concepts into actionable insights for non-finance teammates.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; a CPA or MBA is a significant plus but not a dealbreaker for the right experience.

  • Manage the monthly close process, including bank and credit card reconciliations, to ensure our books are accurate, audit-ready, and reflect the true state of the business.
