About The Position

Pipp Mobile Storage Systems, Inc. is a dynamic and innovative organization committed to delivering excellence to our customers. As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for a Director of Finance to lead the Finance organization and partner with the CFO and business leaders to provide financial decision support. The Director of Finance works closely with the Controller to ensure accounting operations, financial controls, close processes, audit support, tax information coordination and management reporting support the strategic and operational needs of the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, and 8+ years of technical operations management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, management reporting, cash forecasting, and business-partnering routines.
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, advanced Excel, ERP systems, reporting tools, and financial systems.

Nice To Haves

• MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent advanced credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to the CFO, executive leadership, operations, sales, HR, IT, and functional leaders by translating financial results into clear insights, recommendations, and action plans.
• Overseeing treasury activities including cash forecasting, cash management, banking relationships, debt/credit facility coordination, liquidity planning, and short-term investment/borrowing needs.
• Partner with the Controller to ensure close, consolidation, financial reporting, audit support, tax information coordination, and internal control activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Oversee coordination of business insurance programs, policy renewals, coverage analysis, claim support, and related risk-management reporting in partnership with internal stakeholders and external brokers.
• Lead initiatives to improve automation of financial activities across AR, AP, banking, reporting, forecasting, reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Finance team leaders and individual contributors, building a culture of accountability, responsiveness, customer service, continuous improvement, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
