Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive financial management and FP&A experience, ideally in a professional services environment.
  • CPA, CFA, or similar certification preferred.
  • Advanced financial modeling, analytical skills, and deep FP&A expertise.
  • Executive presence with strong communication and presentation capabilities.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing finance teams.
  • Strong understanding of professional services metrics, including profitability drivers, utilization, and leverage KPIs.
  • High proficiency in Excel and experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Hyperion.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.

  • MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead firm‑wide FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and KPI tracking.
  • Partner closely with service line leaders to evaluate financial performance, identify risks, and uncover strategic opportunities.
  • Oversee month‑end and quarterly financial reporting to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and clarity for executive stakeholders.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions, including valuation modeling, deal structuring, and financial due diligence.
  • Drive proactive analysis of profitability, utilization, leverage, and other core professional services metrics.
  • Enhance dashboards, management reporting, and analytics capabilities across the Finance function.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing finance team, including managers and individual contributors.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with People & Culture, IT, Marketing, and Operations to support firm‑wide initiatives.
  • Monitor billing and collections activity and approve invoices and expenses where required.
