About The Position

A global consulting firm is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee financial operations across North America. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function across Canada and the United States while partnering with the business on financial planning, strategy, and growth.

Requirements

Experience overseeing financial operations for a region.
Experience owning a full P&L.
Experience leading annual budget planning.
Experience monitoring operating expenses and maintaining cost efficiency.
Experience ensuring financial reporting accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Experience providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
Experience assessing investment opportunities, market expansion plans, and diversification initiatives.

Responsibilities

Oversee financial operations for the North American region.
Own the full P&L for the North American region.
Lead annual budget planning.
Monitor operating expenses and maintain cost efficiency and budget discipline across departments.
Ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with group and regulatory requirements.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and long-term growth.
Assess investment opportunities, market expansion plans, and diversification initiatives.
Oversee cash flow, working capital, and treasury activities across both countries.
Optimize liquidity and financial controls in support of operational and strategic priorities.
Lead and develop a high-performing, cross-border finance team.
Build a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
