The Director of Finance and Administration is responsible for overseeing the financial health, operational integrity, and administrative systems of Payukotayno: James and Hudson Bay Family Services. This leadership role ensures the agency’s finances, procurement, facilities, and business services are aligned with legal standards, strategic goals, and culturally safe service delivery rooted in Omushkego values. Reporting to the Associate Executive Director, the Director provides high-level financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, and operational oversight. The position ensures that fiscal policies and procedures reflect best practices in Indigenous nonprofit governance, Treaty 9 accountability, and the requirements of provincial and federal funders.
